Can anyone who has one and runs it off a separate dedicated leisure battery tell me what size battery would I need please, don't want to be going  ott  on battery size and price if I don't need to. Cheers

I will, all my works within a 3 mile radius, there's just not enough juice going back into battery to have it on a relay.

Had mine for four years and had to replace the controller box this week as it was playing up for the last couple weeks and it wasn't the wiring or connections. Ran it on a 120a leisure battery.

Not so keen on the new controller box but it beats reeling in by hand,  wish  Pure Freedom sold the electric cabling as a spare part on their website as my cabling was faulty and needed replacing a few months back.
