Can't believe it's a year since I started last years "shortest day" thread. A day to bring a smile to anyone's face, we've turned a corner, it only gets better from now on in.

Genuinely didn't know that, id make a crap druid.
Genuine nerd fact, although the 21st/22nd is officially the shortest day(for daylight), the evenings start getting more daylight from Dec 15th, but daybreak takes a little longer than the few minutes recovered in the afternoon. Which is why you will find when you return after Xmas its light at 4:30 almost immediately.
