Hose keeps popping off the reel
« on: October 10, 2023, 05:53:02 pm »
 As above
Have replaced both connections ,tried metal as well as plastic, but it keeps popping off when pulling out the hose to get round the property
The old one lasted about a year
We have twin reels and have swapped connections over...but it keeps coming off on the one particular reel
Any ideas ?

That is really too minimal information wise

I suspect you should double check your calibration setting on the controller - too high can cause this as the pressure gets too high

Have you replaced the male end aswell as the female?  Both can wear.

Thanks for replies
,both male and female were replaced
the replacements were new so rubber should be okay
I will check calibration...but cant see how it could have changed
Thanks again

Sorted it
Lowered the calibration to 45, it had somehow gone up to 64. We usually work at 50 ???
Fitted a male metal connection with a new rubber to a plastic female hose connection
All seems good so far
No leaks and its not popping of when reeling in and out ;D
Thanks guys
