Go cardless - is there a viable alternative
« on: August 07, 2023, 01:39:57 pm »
I usually pay £480 a month fixed fee for go cardless pro.
Last month I went over the transaction limit for the above and got hammered with overcharges.
Was a big bill, something north of £800
Is there a viable alternative to go cardless?
Am speaking to GC today to negotiate…
Out of curiosity, If you are turning over more than £20k a month, what do you pay?
And how many transactions does it cover you for?
I will get you how many transactions £480 covers me for asap…

I use smart debit.

Cheaper but no cleaner planner integration. If you can use excel* it's easy enough.

You would be better off speaking to Lee Pryor.

I worked out im currently paying around 2.5% per transaction.  How much are you averaging on the flat rate fee?

I know people moan and complain but even at 2.5%  i am more than happy with that just on the automation side of things alone.

Go cardless is all about cash flow for bigger businesses not necessarily time savings.
