Josh we've just been ripped off for £500 from some little toe rag for the installation of a garage door, took the money, made a load of excuses and stopped corresponding.

I talked myself out of going to see him (found his address online) and went down the small claims route, its all done online and cost £50 which you can retrive from the debtors.

He ignored the letter which he was given the right to do, a CCJ  was made and he has been ordered to pay me £550.

All I actually have is a bit of paper saying he owes me money, I cant see anyone gives a stuff and Im almost certain no one is going to enforce anything!

So in all I got stung twice £500 from toe rag and £50 from the court.

The world has gone mad!

If I were prime minister I would declare every man for themselves and buy a midi gun myself and enforce my own...

Not for £500

Now when I was caught for 10k - the purchase of a baseball bat was appealing…..

I've had thoughts of violence over a tenner   ;D

It's not the amount that's the issue it's the thought of someone having one over on me that causes sleepless nights.

I've got a £15 debt that's kinda bugging me. Bang next door to another Victorian terrace house I clean. Some door knockers can be very loud can't they 😁
We look at them, they look through them.

Pay by credit card - they return your money then do the chasing
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

If someone owes you money violence is sometimes used as payment but if you know to manipulate a certain situation you can make their life far more painful than a beating trust me,nothing worse than the wrath of a quiet man-woman.

Maybe you could make it clear that if you dont recieve payments for any leads that you have supplied then you will contact each of the leads and tell them what he has done !

So the guy doesn’t pay first as I thought if everyone works with a lead generation in window cleaning like this it must happen all the time,if someone signs up with you they should show trust in the work you supply if there’s an issue with the work that should be sorted out after the initial clean-contact with that new client.
The supplier of the work is basically winging it and hoping they’ll get payment, bit  like hoping a franchisee won’t steal any work or do the odd job-inside without you knowing sweet cheeks 😉.
