I used to wash the window with vertical brushing then start at the top going down side to side to perform a separate rinsing action.
Now I tend to basically include the rinse as part of the brushing without any side to side motion,whilst keeping the brush on the glass which I find much easier on the body.
The finished job appears just as good.
What do others find to be the easiest method?

You run the risk of leaving brush marks or dirt on the glass in my experience rinsing brush on.

I do use this method but only on very awkward windows that are fairly clean in the first place but never on  dirty windows.

Always rinse . There’s always bits that I bring down on a rinse. Wfp is so quick I don’t see the benefit of trying to speed it up

A good flow of water and a tilt either side of the glass is all that’s needed,the microscopic bits you can see at certain angles in my experience make no difference to the end result they can’t be seen when the window dries.
Makes me laugh when I see people holding back off the glass a foot 18” it’s just not required to get the job done,even on a first clean I’ll use the same rinse but then again I use hot water which is a big advantage anyway.

I always rinse. The number of times I’ve touched a plastic frame only to get a streak of milk makes me want to be doubly sure.

They must be very old frames for that to be happening, are they aluminium I know they leach but as I say they must be ancient frames.

I've tried the no rinse high flow method and sometimes it's seems to work great and other times it leaves loads of bits on the glass.

Its difficult to say what technique i use as it varies depending on the windows. Where I'm stood or if it's phobic etc. Sometimes I rinse on, sometimes I scrub vertical, horizontal or diagonal. Sometimes I lift the brush off to rinse and sometime I lift one side only.

One thing i do though is have flow on full

I often tilt the brush back a little so the bottom of the brush takes some pole weight but the bristles above the jet either are free of the glass or just touching.

If I am up close on the ground floor - especially patio or multi bi-fold doors, I sometimes turn my pole horizontal and keep the bottom half and jet on the glass and the upper jet and bristles free of the glass and quickly run from top to bottom horizontally holding the pole.

Some windows yes, some no. It's a sense you will pick up after time.

Absolutely agree no you won’t I’ve said it before if you were to check every job you do you could find fault,hot water cleans better very light poles enable you to scrub and direct the brush better therefore reducing the chances of more errors.

I work on coast sometimes need to scrub a window and rince 4 times 🤦 rince off glass on most but on some i rince on depending on job there all different hot water makes life much easer and it does do better job and quicker 👌
