Are bank holidays ( or any work days taken off) not really taken off but work offset to another day?
The work you would normally do on that Monday has to be added onto another day it would only be a bank holiday/day off if you didn’t do the work at all but the customer still paid you
Most of the time I work 4 days per week so I just change my days around on bank holidays(I usually take fridays off)...although I will sometimes work 5 days in a week...others it could be as little as 2 depending on what work is due....sometimes I'll just take a random day off in the middle of the week or a scheduled day for doctors/dentist,etc....
For me this is the beauty of working for myself....not having to work 40+ hours a week with lots of time off....
