Warning, Nigel.

The OP has asked for guidance on his situation. No one is interested in your opinions on what constitutes good customers.

All these new homes being built are full of working families not retired people a large proportion are bought up by Houseing Companies and rented either privately or through the local councils.
You don’t sell your large house and move on to an estate with a 1000 houses on it unless you are a fool you move to the coast Devon-Cornwall.

I live in Devon and am nicely in the best areas for work lol

Absolute rubbish! Considering you keep banging on that you don’t set foot in these estates I’m confused how you can come to such a conclusion?

Is nwh talking  guff again ?

Nothing wrong with new estates they are really easy to clean and can bang out loads in a day.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with them we are talking cleaning windows on em and the bigger companies love them because they do them in vast numbers and very cheap they even say how much it’ll cost before they look at it,if you could get what they should be priced at it would be brilliant work.

I have a mixture of all sorts of jobs...

The cheap estate work that I'm cleaning
this week (4 days work)...

1.im not driving about so lower fuel costs
2.if I lose a customer it doesn't make a dent in my earnings really

3.the truth is I'm far less likely to lose a job if their paying a small amount every month for clean windows...

I've been cleaning on this estate since 1993....
price higher/work harder!
