New Gotubeless from Ex-ceed looks awful
« on: April 03, 2022, 03:26:12 pm »
This company continually disappoints me, from making products that break more easily for profit or changing their product line over night with no concern for those who run multiple vans on the old set up.

With this new Gotubeless (even annoys me how much it sounds like Gocardless) you can't easily connect and disconnect with your pole in one hand and your hose in the other, now you've got 6 inches of hose dangling awkwardly from the end of your pole. You've got to put the brush head on the ground to grab hold of this dangling mess and same to disconnect. Also the whole lot is more likely to get caught on the base cap as it goes up into the pole.

Makes zero sense, I'd like to know why they've done it or for someone to educate me on why this is better.

I genuinely want to understand the reason for the change

maybe some issues with the older ejector setup,  the bung is a good idea that at the moment is my biggest bug bear where the connector catches the bung in and out

The ejector is too large to go inside the second section and the univalve does not fit in section one - that’s why it has to be placed at the base of the pole - I think I may have a Herman solution to getting to work tho 😆

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

well if I do a mod - its going to look a little rough as I don't have access to a mill so it would be unfair of me not say its going to look like a Herman effort where ive chewed the plastic rather than a nice cut and deburred finish  ;D

Feel free to share if you manage to make it work on the ova 8  :)
