DIY system
« on: November 17, 2021, 04:17:16 pm »
Hello guys,
I am building a DIY system for 2 people.
I have looked on you tube for examples without luck.
Do the pumps have to be low to the van floor or can they be placed higher? over the wheel arches for example,
Thanks in advance.

The lower the better to avoid air locks.

Shurflo pumps can be placed 12' above the water level.

The Shurflo pump is higher than the top of the tank in my son's Van with a 500 liter upright Wydale tank.

Air leaks are an issue if the hoses and fittings before the pump aren't fitted securely. We found double ear O rings/clip work well. Jubilee clamps don't.

My new one fitted above wheel arch about level with top of 500 litre tank......no problems with airlocks or anything.
Wont post it over 3mb....how do you get a 6.2mb picture down to 3mb?
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.
