4040 RO, no flow
« on: August 29, 2021, 11:29:15 am »
Just changed the RO on a 4040 for the first time.

Turned tap back on.

No pressure.

What have I done wrong?? Any ideas?

Now working with flow but the ends of the ro are sliding off, even with the clamps tightened to max.

I think I’ve bent the clamps now! Doh!

It can be a bit of a fine art to changing a membrane. But once you’ve done it once it gets easier.

Are you sure the end caps are on properly?

When I changed mine it took a fair bit of pressure to get the end caps back on, then you lock them in place with the clamps. There’s no budging it after that.
