does anyone use an accurate weather forecast , i look at the bbc, and met office for my local area to try to  plan my work, but they are usually completely different forecasts, i just think in this day and age and technology that the forecasts would be more accurate

It's pretty accurate and you can see what's coming your way!

I just use the bbc app for my local area.....its ok....I work in most bad weather so unless its prolonged heavy rain or ice/snow I've no need to plan work around it most days....

They often get rain forecasts wrong anyway....

Generally don’t worry about the weather forecast , if it’s to wet or windy we take the day off if it’s ok we work , no forecast is ever going to be that accurate looking out the window or just getting on with the job until it’s to bad is the way we deal with it .

We pay a normal days rate but obviously no bonuses, but to be fair it’s rare that we have to take time off for  rain it’s usually wind that’s the issue ware we are.  I try to juggle work to different areas if weather is bad so we are still working .

Not round here it's not. As op says BBC and met office rarely in alignment, and annoyingly one is no more accurate than the other, yet custys take it as  written in stone.
