Pressure washing solar panels
« on: May 11, 2021, 04:29:29 pm »
So despite my scepticism a few months ago I decided to pressure wash these solar panels as they seemed like a fairly suitable subject.

Came up nicely if I do say so myself, the higher, last three rows, were covered in lichen as the fella who tried doing them two years ago was cack.

Live 'n learn.

a long lance..

I converted a clx pole years ago you can reach out 5 meters with it - just have to be careful on judging the pressure otherwise its like fly fishing - the pole will whip over your head

How did you reach the top rows?

With a 40’ Gardiners SLX. Although in reality it was a brand new 35’ SLX with an extra odd end slotted on the top.

I bought the 35 footer specifically for roof cleaning as I’ve been using an old 35 footer which has a habit of creaking at full length with a Turbo Devil on it so wanted something I felt a little more comfortable using.

All done off a 4metre scaffold tower.

Be careful on the fibreboard. We’re not allowed on it.
