« on: April 10, 2021, 08:55:48 pm »
been out the loop for the last 3 years ,
so would appreciate some feed back on a decent sensibly priced sprayer for hypo
i intend on getting back on the drives and softwashing etc to start earning some coin again.
better if it was electric or not ?
your advice is appreciated

I've always used a watering can with a decent fine holed rose.....

General spot spraying and areas unto 10 meter square we use IK9 sprayers - robust and chemical resistant - spares always available

bigger areas we use x-jet type attachment on the pressure washer - use this for large areas and roofs..

Electric one would be ok like a backpack but will need to be well flushed out after every use

https://everflopump.com/product/ef7000-7-0-gpm-diaphragm-pump/

Just setting one of these up, same as WFP, 100 metres of hose - all van mounted.

Added - Fitting the hose tails cracked the blooming pump head so there's a brand new one on the side , just delivered.

I think Ben has them at £220.00 ish, which is cheaper than anywhere else - if you're having one mate hand tight, don't go on the spanners.

Added - They're big, probably twice the size of a window cleaning pump but even leaking, doing the test on Wednesday it throws it out.

Carl - take the machine over to Julian @ Britclean, Biddulph.

He knows the machine because he got mine in and serviced it.

Alternatively - give me the machine, I'll get it fixed and be very happy!!

no chance m8.
although tbh its too big for my van tbf, i wanted a skidmounted unit but already had this in storage.
ben at rutland pumps just serviced it and repaired the 169 interpump suction and delivery hose valves and it runs like the beast i remember.
it truly is a beast and its a shame i have ot got the work atm for it,
my local competitor is £3.00 sq mt  weedkilled cleaned and resanded and 1 free weeedkill any time in 12 months
