"Build your own system" V "ionics mad money
« on: March 16, 2021, 01:38:50 pm »
You have not let me down yet.  Looking to get a second van.   I am good at business but not partuicually practical.  Just need it up and running fast but can't bring myself to pay the ionic prices.  Any of you lovely lot able to point me in a direction of how to build my own system that connects to the mains water and is heated.  I currently have a cowboy set up of portable shower unit heating up the water.  Looking to put a 600-800 tank in.   Can't get over ionics prices and would be happy to spread it over 5 years but there finance is £1000 a year interest on that for the V4 thermal.  Thanks in advance.

Why ionics?

Look at grills or pure freedom

There are good alternatives to a diesel boiler - just depends on what you want

Look for a secondhand system I have bought two this way just bought an  Ionic’s thermopure 600 ltr system for £800  replaced all the filtration  but it’s a cheap way to get good quality kit .

It’s like looking in a Rolls Royce showroom isn’t it Mmmm you can’t deny the quality of their systems they are like a work of Art,expensive yes but so are Rolls Royces 👍.
When you’ve used an alternative setup for years and you know how simple it can be biting the bullet for one of them leaves a sour taste I must admit,if I had one in my garage I’d just go in every now and again and look at it.  👌

You need to have in mind what happens if anything stops working on that system can I repair it is  it easy to work on,access on some systems are easy on some they aren’t.
A novice looking at an Ionic system would have a nose 👃 bleed 🩸 especially with a heater involved, get one installed by someone that is the closest to you.

Saying that if a heater stops working  for whatever reason you will always be able to use the cold on it,as long as you can access and wire a pump you should be able to keep working.
Being able to repair troubleshoot a few situations over the years has saved me losing a lot of 💰 with days that would have been lost, the first thing I would say to any WFP newbie is you must familiarise yourself with the system you have, know the faults before they happen or what causes them.

🤣🤣 you laugh m8 I looked at an M3 the other day I specked it to around 85 lol,it’s got the same engine as the X3M but drives totally different from the reviews I’ve seen.
Yeah 4 wheel drive in the summer and tbh why wouldn’t you wait for that in this country,I don’t like the M4 I know you have one m8
I drove one for an hour it didn’t do it for me it felt too big,M3s too long and so tail happy even in the dry I like the M2 but I keep getting swayed by Audi interiors.
That new M3 is lovely in that Pearl grey colour and the interior is beautiful, they soon be around the 65-70 mark with 6-7000 miles when some other mugs paid the Vat on it 🤣🤣🤣, that M2 needs the exhaust changing immediately to a slightly muted Remus ridiculous cows udder they come with because of EU laws.

If I’m gonna watch a review i always watch Chris Harris but that new M3 review by Autocar is better it’s more of a I’m gonna be driving this car on the road review rather than doing a grands worth of tyres in an hour one round a track.

Same as a vehicle always the closest dealership or where you purchased it,the V4 thermopure from Ionic is being advertised on PornHub though Mmm if Lowry painted WFP systems they’d look like that one 👌

Pure 2o is the value brand of Ionics and similar in price to Grippa. The tanks etc are just the same.

If you were thinking of a Pure20 system you might as well build one yourself compared to the works of Art 🖼 they churn out they look like the off cuts, the only thing you need to think about is getting a decent tank safely installed in the back you could finish it off with a hose reel and pump box.

Pure 2o use the same black polypropylene tank with stainless steel frame and is crash tested.

I do not see how bolting some pretty cylinders on it turns it into a work of art.

They also use the same Ionics' hotbox if you go for the hot water option.
