hope your through the worst mate.......

my girlfriends son has just tested positive yesterday....he s got no symptoms whatsoever......

I tested positive on the saturday and didnt start to feel really ill till the tuesday. So it could have been in my system a week before i really knew i had it.

Crazy how symptoms can go from non existent to death and everything in between.

Johnny how long did it take your mate to recover, n lal  being in a coma isn't nice for some mine was a bad experience as everything felt real  people was trying to kill me ,I thought I had been abducted by hospital droids  not an experience I want to repeat 🙂👍

Did you have delirium when you came out? I had 6 days in a coma in the summer & when I came out I believed I was being held prisoner & tried to escape. I had three security guards in the car park that I'd reached trying to get me back in the ward without hurting me whilst listening to my abuse. I was going to run 12 miles home. In my slippers! I could cry with shame at my behaviour.

I was a split vote on covid whether it was real or not until I caught it ,it's not a very nice thing to have and my view on live now as changed, mentally and physically it changes you I get really emotional at stuff my minds not the best at moment I have no interest in my work at moment, I know its early days ,layed in a bed for nearly 5 weeks isn't a nice experience especially when you Don't see family and friends for the duration of your hospital stay ,😔

I always say those doubters and conspiracy theorists out there obviously don’t know anyone who has died or been hospitalised by the virus and how badly it can affect you.
Glad to see you are on the mend, work can wait, your health and well being should be your main concern for now👍

a guy i went to school with has been at home now for a good few weeks after 2 weeks on a ventilator...same age as me(49)......he s still got blood clots on his lungs and is far from ok...he cant even have his disabled daughter overnight as he cant lift her up...he s too weak....

he was a lot fitter than me before he got covid......now hes a shadow of his former self..... :(

my stepson on the other hand after testing positive a few weeks ago has only got no sense of smell as a symptom, thats it...he feels fine.....

its a very strange virus thats for sure.......
