Buying a van at auction
« on: February 02, 2021, 12:09:35 pm »
Anyone on here done it? I know it can be risky but I'm wondering whether the savings are decent? I know from PX on private vehicles I have done in the past then them appearing on a forecourt a few weeks later there doesn't seem to be that much profit to be made. Wondering if it's different on commercial vehicles?

Watch out for just looking at auction prices. There is usually a fee plus vat on the fee to pay, sometimes the van is also plus vat. Obviously if you are vat registered not an issue but if not could catch you. Prices still stupid high at moment, wonder if they will come back down?
