I have a 6mm hose reel 100meters never had any issues what so ever. It’s a brand new system 3 months old, day before Xmas eve i notice my flow coming out was just completely different like if it was on 50 would be the same flow if was on 99. I have tried everything to try fix this auto cal the system even tried manually and did not help. I notice when i unplugged from the hose the flow is fine soon as put back on hose reel the flow is rubbish again. Have looked for air locks  have looked for kinks in the hose. I have tried everything im so lose it’s stressing me out. I have a split relay battery on control is 12.3 i have even tried with the van running and battery goes to 14.00 makes no difference with flow. It’s old  how all off a sudden just won’t work on my 6mm hose. If anyone could help me out would be much appreciated as im so lost and have tried everything. Could it just be is something wrong with the hose ? I have had it all out and is no kinks or anything though. Im thinking should i get a new hose or could it be something else. I’m so lost lol if anyone can help me that be great.

Also tried cleaning out the little filter that collects all the crap that made no difference

I have tried putting new connectors on it no difference. Also had the hose all the way out and made no difference. I honestly don’t know what else to try seems like i have tried everything. Could it be a case of getting a new hose ? Just very odd if that is the case though. Putting a new hose on would stop the rubbish flow ? Someone said to me to put 8mm hose on see if your flow  is ok then ? Would anyone suggest that

On the off chance have you changed your jet size on your brush ?  I got 3mm by accident once and I had a right job discovering what it was. Seemed like low flow

Also check inside your tank and see if any debris is getting sucked into the outlet in the bottom

Only things I can think of are.....
1.Riser tube of DI dislodged , if you have one of course.
2.If any of the connectors are water stop ones , try swapping for normal ones , they can restrict flow

Providing you’ve checked all connectors because it could be this if the system has EZ fittings on the system I’ve had this,the only other thing it could be and I had this about year ago is a bad vessel.
I understand the frustration lol if you take out the riser in the vessel sometimes it cures it for a few minutes then back to low flow,I reckon it’s that if you’ve checked for air locks back to the tank outlet smaller jets shouldn’t make any difference.

When you say you've tried changing connectors, does that include the rectus female water stop ( presuming thats what you use ) on end of the hose where it connects to pole hose ? Only asking because I had a similar problem earlier in year that had me stumped also. I presumed the connector was ok because it flowed when connected and stopped when it wasn't so overlooked it thinking I had a more complicated problem, for whatever reason it must have been damaged and somehow was restricting the flow.

If you run through any DI vessels after your pump it could be air inside. If there's enough of it, the air will compress when it comes up against the resistance of your reel. This is why when you disconnect the reel the water flows fine- because there is little to no resistance.  A sign of this is extra pressure build up, so you'll get a big splurge initially then the flow drops drastically. The pressure build up is the air compressing in side the top of the vessel.
Take your vessel out, fill it to the max with water (till it's overflowing) then reinstall.

I had a very dodgy batch of these rectus Microbore fittings it was never ending flow problems,when they are faulty they only half open giving you a restricted flow it’s the first thing I’d change now if I have flow problems.
Even when brand new you need to spray lube all round and under the sliding ring on them,they get grit and dirt under them in next to no time even with a protect ball,every time this happens I say to myself I’m going to go down the John Guest route for pole and hose far easier,the only thing is I return to tank with hot and need a bigger fitting for this although I suppose I could do this with a reducer fitting.

Flipin air lock.
Had this happen to me. Could not find it until I put my exit hose high and turned up flow high. Started to clear after a couple of mins.
Clean out pump filter first though..

Rectus fittings that have the pin in to stop water coming out after you disconnect are the worst culprits for this,I’ve got at least 3 of these on my system and I’ve just bought 10 pole hose ones they can be a nightmare at times especially the hose reel Rectus fittings.

Hi. Like many others I have had a similar experience. My problem turned out to be my pump. Although it wasn't very old it's diaphragm had a slit in it. It worked fine to a point, but I was frustrated with a lack of flow rate. I like you tried many thing first off. Try borrowing from someone you know or ask on here for someone local to you.. Many will be having a few days off this time of year. It will be a bit fiddly. But if it works you will know your problem. Anything can break when virtually new.

I always always have a brand new spare pump in the van or at home now had a pump go on me a few years ago and with a mix up with the delivery cost me 3 days work,having something that will stop you working immediately it’s essential you have a spare and a pump is the main thing.

Don’t forget your pole hose too. It also kinks where it exits the pole handle at the bottom as well as the brush end.

I would start at the tank and make sure that water is coming out freely.
Then reconnect the tank and disconnect the outlet to the pump and make sure that is working ok.
Or, where the water goes into the hose reel, disconnect it, take off the fitting and just check the water flow from the bare hose.
Reconnect the fitting. I would then take all the hose off the reel, make up 10 foot of short hose (from spare bits) and again just check the flow with no end fittings. If you get to that stage and it still works ok, it's probably your main hose, pole hose or brush.
Stick the connector on the short hose you made up and attach your pole and brush etc and make sure that all works.
Then you're back to your main hose.
I know it's a bit 'teaching you to suck eggs' but if you're methodical and take your time, you should find the problem.
