seems to be the in thing ,    im sure there is easy money to be made , fairplay to those out there milking the crisis.

Personally i wouldn't do it even if i had the gear , such a dishonest waste of time .   You fog a building ...  as soon as you leave someone with the virus walks in  , and your back to square one .    But people seem to believe in it  , i seen a post calling for schools to be fogged before the kids return  ...  like virus would be long dead in the empty classroom  ,  its the kids you'd need to fog ...daily .

There are a few products that have a residual effect and go on working.  If a worker in a front line organisation becomes infected the rest of the workforce deserve some level of protection.  Also,  some companies are doing this as a free service to their communities.

The companies that are offering this for free are just trying to earn brownie points
As for fogging you might as well  fart in the place  it would have the same effect , until a vaccine is found then no amount of fogging / farting , sanitising  is going to be effective

When I see fogging in hospitals ( toilets, corridors, changing rooms, offices etc) then I will believe fogging is an effective strategy to combat this virus

The infection of frontline workers is a national crisis, the government is doing everything possible to protect them, if fogging worked they would be doing it. They are using  disinfectant  wipes which is a slow, labour intensive task,  if they could just fog a room in minutes they would do it

But this is my opinion based on my limited knowledge

I thought the idea of fogging was to penetrate areas that would be difficult to sanitise by hand and as part of an ongoing program of control.

Fogging alone is not the answer it has to be combined with good old fashioned elbow grease.

If fogging was the answer hospitals and large public buildings would have in built systems allowing them to fog at will after an area is contaminated or as part of a general hygiene program.

Fogging is a valid technique and effective along side cleaning and other measures. We are dealing with customers who are fogging health facilities including temporary doctors surgery Porta Cabins where people with Corona symptoms are directed too. These are fogged 3 times a day.

It’s someone making a case for their equipment, it’s not impartial.

It’s like me saying my carpet cleaning is better than yours!!

Fogging contaminated areas has been used for years to tackle viruses, odour and bacteria as part of a measured control system fogging has its place when used in conjunction with good touch cleaning where appropriate.
