Cleaner Windows

wfp (dirty sills?)

I was cleaning a shop front today and the lady from the shop next door came over and asked if i was here to clean her also, i explained that i wasnt her cleaner etc, she said "I wasnt sure as my cleaner has been using the water pole thingy, but i didnt know if maybe he was using the normal way again" i said ahh i see! and what do you think of his wfp then..does it do a good job? and she reckoned that it cleans the windows o.k but the sills are still dirty so she isnt that pleased with it!! next she asked me if ladder use is illegal now?? what is she talking about? is there something i should know? :)

The legality of ladders is a source of great debate on here at times.  The regulations certainly appear to permit the use of ladders under certain conditions but what those conditions actually are seems to be a grey area.  That's all I'm saying about it as I've no intention of getting mown down in the crossfire  :)

I use wfp and i havent got any dirty sills on any of my houses, her cleaner obviously doesnt bend the goose neck and run his brush over the sill then does he! another one who doesnt do a good piece of equipment justice and gets everybody else who uses it a bad name.

Out of 8 of us that use wfp round here 3 of them are crap simply because they dont no how to do a proper job and were just the same when they were traditional,. CRAP

Its like any oyher tool if you dont no how to use it properly your never going to get the best results out of it.

thanks for your input guys! much appreciated as always. I thought it may be the case (that the said cleaner was just doing a crap job!) but i had to ask. :)

oo er mate...hehe that was a debate wasnt it  ::)

i hope none of you think im having a jipe at wfp, i just wanna seperate the truth from any fiction about it as im interestad in giving it a go myself when i can :)

Back to the topic I see gardiner poles are selling a new brush for cleaning sills..........anyone tried it yet?
