How much (new quote)
« on: August 25, 2020, 01:03:42 pm »
Hi guys. Haven’t  got any pictures but got to quote a commercial building which has 96 windows all easily accessible and standard two pane sash type   Windows with metal frames and concrete sills.

They want a quarterly clean (pretty dirty for first clean). Then another building with around 50 windows similar story but these windows are much larger sash ones. How much would you charge?

Cheers

Both buildings really near each other and all very easy WFP access and plenty parking 😀

Impossible it’s a bit like spot the ball without pictures.

Basically 96 windows all close to each other. Goes into 2 courtyards a bit like a residential home. Can easily do the whole lot with a hose reel parked up in one place. Yep pics might have been a good idea lol

I couldn’t tell you without pictures but like you asking an estate agent to value a home without seeing it,try and get pictures or why haven’t got any.

I would quote high on the first clean, some of those metal windows dry rubbish.

Estimate how long it will take you (remembering that going forward it’s a quarterly clean) add on any travelling time to and from the job, times that by an hourly rate that you’re happy with, add on a little extra  if payment terms are more than a couple of weeks.......That’s about it.

About €250/275 for the 96 on the 1st clean and €150/175 for the 50 and judge a regular price based on what they are like to clean would be me

Thanks Tom.

I’ve gone in at £200 and £150 and it’s been accepted. I really wanted the jobs as can knock that back in half a day once first clean done and a good earner. Even if it took a day the first time I would be happy. I waived the first clean higher fee as an incentive for them. Yes they could use me just the once but my hunch is this will be a keeper 👍
