Loading pressure washer on and off van
« on: July 12, 2020, 10:21:26 pm »
Hi Guys
Have a Honda pressure washer and struggling to load off and on van (Berlingo) without the help one one other person.
Bought some ramps off eBay but they are 1,8 metres long and quite heavy and a pain in the arse to use.
What do you guys use or any suggestions would be welcome.
Cheers

we use 2 motorbike ramps - made of Ali and fold in the middle - had them 8 years or so - well worth the £90 for the pair

I just cut a bit of ply the required width and length. Then cut that in half and put hinges on it .

I used to use Ramps, but got fed up of them, so now just ‘wheelie’ the machine up onto the van, then shimmy it forward till the back wheels are on.

You just need to be careful you don’t do it when oil is boiling hot. But I’ve never had a problem doing it this way, in years...
