You can clean windows on the coast and they can literally be dirty again within hours,a few of them would want them cleaned every month but the majority of them are happy to have them cleaned every 6-8 weeks.
There’s salty glass and then there are windows that are 100 yards from the sea,I do a few this close and the windows are white with salt every time they are cleaned, they get the benefit if you have dry weather for a week or so but if there’s wind and rain like I say dirty again within hours, each visit I do frames and glass and they are happy but most wouldn’t want to shell out every 3-4 weeks.

I can’t see you 4 weekly lot keeping to that schedule after the next 6 months, unless you clean all retired old aged pensioners on a fixed no matter what income you’ll get pushed back maybe to every 8.

Just had a new build customer, £500,000 house, offered him 4 and 8 weekly, begged me for 2 weekly
I obliged

Some will some wont, I've found more people wanting 8 weeks over the years, some still start on 4.
Some move to 8 for financial reasons,  some move to 4 when they can/want.
As long as they pay what I want I'm not going to care.

During the 2008 recession, we felt no effects. What so ever. The guys I worked for (family friends) lost barely a hand full of domestics.

Who knows if this year will have an effect or not. I have noticed a slow down in enquiries via email, over the last few days.

They always start on what you recommend as time goes by they tell you what suits them,I don’t take on any small jobs I have a minimum which weeds out the time wasters.
I could clean them for half the money but i would end up turning up twice as much for the same money,my motto is charge more clean less often.
I’ve looked on some of these so called big hitters websites and they are cleaning stuff for peanuts no wonder they have endless amounts of work, cleaning half the amount of work for the same money makes more sense to me.

My guess would be but of course I could be wrong never often though lol, people that have got all customers on direct debit  or have so many customers they couldn’t possibly have contact with the majority and have no personal touch will lose the most.
It’s a lot easier for someone to sack you off if they don’t know you or see you face to face,if they see you they would be more inclined to say can we put it back a few weeks from now on,so easy to just cancel a direct debit and send you an email saying I no longer require you service if they don’t know you and that’s not me speculating that’s a fact.
