Anybody use a Fiat doblo van?
« on: November 19, 2019, 10:49:07 pm »
As title I was looking at a fiat doblo van.  Just wondered  if they are any use for wfp cleaning.  I currently have a vivaro but am thinking of down sizing.
Cheers

I used to have a Doblo Maxi, decent van with a 1000kg payload, ideal for WFP window cleaning.  The only negative for me was the turning circle on it was terrible.

I use one lwb version,  it's coming up to 2 years old now with no issues , easily handles a 500lt tank and all the bits.

I had the old model bought new in 2006 and sold to Dan the man (my son in law) in 2014 and I believe he sold it (as he wanted bigger as he does gutter vaccing as well) to someone on this forum in 2018. It was excellent with a 400L tank and had a payload of 736kg.

When I first started with Dan the man  for the first 6 months I towed a trailer with 200L in it as well!

It was only the 1.3 version (which had a cam chain, not a belt that needed replacing) too.
It's a game of three halves!
