When running two reels/pumps in the past. I had a battery for each pump and one guy heads one way and the other the other {if you get my drift}.

I would suggest getting at least a 105amp leisure battery  and a split charge relay and then your be fine. Working 2 out of one van is ok as your soon get into a routine of who goes where on what house and won’t get tangled or could even have one hose out side door if possible and one out the back just whatever works for you but your be ok and definitely won’t regret it as backback must be a right pain and having to keep topping it up waisting time.

I had 2 reels running  from 1 pump, worked a treat, the only thing was if one guy stopped the pressure increased on the other but worked well.

I work the same as this and it works great for us , however it does depend on the type of properties you clean .
my daughter uses the back pack, and will very rarely run out of water, as she uses a univalve, her back pack is ok with this .
she fills the back pack in seconds with a transfer pump.

I have 3 hose reels 1 out of each side door and 1 coming out the rear door we use 3 pumps each with controllers and 2 leisure batteries this gives the option to pull up both sides of the street

Two pumps, two controllers, one 110 leisure battery works great for us.  If we’re working outa one van one cleans the back, one the side. I take the easier face ;D

Get different coloured hoses for the reels if you can.

So you’ll buy electric reels but won’t buy a leisure battery ???

So why not just use 2 leisure battery's and charge them over night.
