This is an injury that I've developed/aggrivated over the last year and now I can't get my socks on without causing some pain, holding a cup of tea by the handle with thumb and forefinger is not good.
I've now realised that it's actually starting on my other hand but not to the same extent... Yet!
So what is it?
It's an injury of the Ulnar collateral ligament of the thumb (top jointy bit) and affects volley ball players, fowl hunters from the motion/pressure when snapping rabbits necks and now daily slx35 users
So I was off last Saturday and Thursday followed by a very short shift on Saturday and now I've taken today off due to the awkwardness of it. I used a splint on Friday but generally I'm a bit ped off with it.
I won't waste my time going to the doctor's as it's only a strain not a rupture but who's had it and how long before it settles down?
I'm thinking 2 weeks with a splint and using the slx25 then I'm off for about ten days. Then only use the 35 for flats and a support on each hand for a while.
