Could one of you kindly tell me what  the length of section 3 is , not including the clamp though ?

Cheers

Is it not the same length as any other slx number 3 section?
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

I think 18 , 22 are the same then they get longer apart from the 27

My reason is I’m looking to buy the 35 as my facelift is getting a bit much for my old bones now at 3.5kg

My SLX 18 is now 3.5 years old , still in very good nick , I was going to swap the first 3 of both poles over giving me a new 18 and the older sections on the 35 , as it’s occasionally used it will last me out .

Bought a slx25 for someone couple of months back that text in sick on the first day! Which I'm using for the first time today instead of the slx 35 due to a thumb injury, why I never used it before I don't know.  I'll get the measurement in a minute...

(Sections in the 25 and 35 will be the same)

Thanks very much Mr P !
I just have to measure the base section of my 18 now to see if it will go in without having to cut it down !

Just measured the base section of my 18 and it comes in at 140 , I don’t fancy lopping 22cm off section 3 and whatever it might be off 2 and 1 in order to gain a new 18

At £450 for the 35 it would be madness !
And besides , I still have minimum of 12 months left in the old 18 yet !

All ordered and can’t wait to jump from 3.5kg to 2.1kg , heaven  ;D

Am l correct in thinking poles are signed for only as it’s been a while since I bought one ?

Still use the base section, it'll just clamp further down the pole.

The wife's always told to stay in for poles and resin as both require a signature... She's never happy about it.

It’s not the clamp  position that bothers me it’s the collapsed length of the pole , I have some very tight places to go into .
I would have been better off buying the 27 and adding Ext 7 & 8 to get my desired height and the ability to swap the top sections , but this was about another £50 on top this way
