I'm thinking about fitting a booster pump to a 600GPD RO from Varitech

Has anyone else tried this, and how did it go?
Aquatec 8800
I use a 4040 now but using that Aquatec pump to boost my 450gpd, when had, was great.
I understand that 450gpd is the top end of the booster pumps range. Doug at Daqua says that the specs of the Aquatec pump limit the booster to a max of 300gpd.
I'm sure Streamline used to do this conversion at one time using 2 booster pumps, one for each membrane.
Varitech say that the r/o is available with or without booster pump (no 's' as in pumps), so I would suggest the o/p talk to Varitech directly.
You could be right on specs Spruce, I’ve no idea to be honest.
All I know is I used a 450gpd with the Aquatec 8800 when I first started employing and it produced enough to fill/top up an IBC when we were using around 650litres a day.
(The RO in the link is the same kind as a 450gpd RO from the looks of it)
Went to a boosted 4040 eventually as the production rate is so much faster (120/150LPH) there’s never any worries on water.
