RO GREEN STUFF

IVE ALGEA: growing in my filter housing and pipes any tips to stop this from happenning , covered it over but still is growing in the covers.

 doesnt seem to effect the tds though

 anyone else with this problem?

My R/O is in a light-proof box made of silvered insulation foam and my water butts are dark green non-opaque and I get no probs with algae.

(I used to tho' when my R/O was in daylight and worse in full sunlight.)

I don't think it will effect your tds unless really bad. I got rid of mine by boiling water and then using a non-soapy plastic/sponge pot cleaner to get it out of the chambers.
It's a game of three halves!

thanks MALC :Mine runs into 1000litre ibc thats no problem it seems everything else is turning green,thanks for the [it wont effect the tds reading
