Dont think it's an airlock mate. I have had it on full blast for ages and absolutely nothing.

For basic Backpack issues there is this simple online troubleshooting guide

Things to check in this case:

1. Air lock - to check for this ensure that a pole is correctly plugged into to the endstop and ensure that the hose is lower than the backpack. Fill the backpack at least half full of water. Now pump and the unit should primer if it was an airlock.

2. Is the pole connector plugged in correctly. If your are using a  Claber Aquastop on the end and the unit is already under pressure it can be very difficult to plug the male pole connector in sometimes. To test this if you are using a Claber Aquastop, is to unscrew and remove the Aquastop from the backpack hose and try pumping. If it now pumps then you know that the pole connector was not correctly plugged in. To prevent this happening again, always switch the backpack off before unplugging.

If the above checks do not solve your issue then please visit our  online warranty form and fill it in and someone will call you back to assist with further troubleshooting.

Hi Alex , I had a Male connector connected to the claber fitting and have also had it off the tube. The pump doesn't sound as powerful as it was and its fully charged. Isn't the warranty void if using tfr?

Warranty is not void if using TFR. However if you have used caustic chemicals then it may not be under warranty.

Have you tried the Air-lock technique as it could be this still - the key is to half or completely filling the backpack to push the water into the pump.

Please either fill in the online warranty form and provide your telephone number and someone will call you back or you can email the team on sales@gardinerpolesystems.co.uk with your phone number and the issue and they can call you back to assist further.

The problem you are experiencing (pumps still pumping but no water flow) can only be for one of the following reasons:

1. Airlock
2. End Connector not function correctly - although usually the pump would shut-off if this was the case
3. Split diaphragm on the pump - if you have not pumped caustic chemicals then this would be rare

Whatever it is the Customer Service Team will be able to assist you  :)
