Alexander Swan
« on: October 28, 2018, 08:32:27 am »
I made a non fault claim against a van driver who scratched the side of my van with his wing mirror back in August so made a claim through my insurance company Alexander Swan to get the work repaired against the third party.  I only changed to Alexander Swan around a year ago so had no experience of what they are like handling a claim. Well so far I can fully recommend their services as late last week the third party authorised  the work to be carried out close to where I live and a driver from the insurance company dropped off a Ford Custom kitted out with a 650 litre  Pure 2o system at 8am on Saturday morning so I could be working as normal 8am Monday morning.  I am very pleased with their service so far and having a replacement system on loan for the week has saved down time and loss of income. I'm very pleased I changed to a company that can offer a replacement van on loan in the case of a non fault claim .

Nice.

But wait till you have to pay for it in next year's premium when they double it for having a claim under your belt.  Your fault or not.

From any insurance companies mate.  When you are asked if you had made any Claims in the last 3 years, fault or no fault this is when they bump up prices.    Such an unfair con to try and make it not worth the while in going through insurance for smaller things.

I have been insured with them for around 8 years , I to have had two non fault accidents people driving into me when Ime Stationry, and with in 24 hours both times a courtesy van  with ionics hot system was on my doorstep 200 miles away from them the first time it was Sarah the owner of Alexander swan who deliverd it there service is excellent and premium is very competitive mine is insured fior a set amount not market value so should the worst happen hopefully I won’t be to much out of pocket thouroughly recomend them . They will want proof of a professionaly fitted system not held in with ratchet straps , or at least they did years ago not sure if that still applies

I too am with Alexander Swan, their replacement van cover is absolutely amazing for just £75 a year.

Top notch company
Top notch cover
Top notch service.

That is all.

You can now include the replacement van bit in with the monthly payment.  The previous times I renewed you had to do that upfront.
