« on: August 23, 2018, 06:17:25 pm »
Hi All looking for help. I have a Extracta carpet cleaner that's been working fine until today when I was halfway  cleaning a customers carpet when all stopped working as if the power was turned off.
Pump and vacs stopped put the power light is still on.  Any help would be much appreciated.

one one will be able to tell you what wrong remotely ,
its probably the switch itself , the light could be working even after failure ...
if you get yourself one of those little electrical pens that light up as they pass close to live wire ... just start where the cable enters the machine and run the sensor up to the switch ... after the switch ... and beyond  , when ever it stops lighting up its your problem area ...
but probably switch or connection to switch  ...

also ... didnt extractas have little fuses on the panel ... probably the little fuse

fuse is inside the little flat black discs on the panel here ... twist off with flat hear screwdriver ... its a plug type fuse
