Gunslinger-Reach-it
« on: August 17, 2018, 11:06:12 pm »
I purchased 1 which was faulty due to it leaking and giving me a wet leg,I was then sent another 1 the same which too leaked and gave me a wet leg. I must also say this was pre ordered in March and didn’t turn up for nearly 4 months,I messaged them and was told we don’t do refunds which to me was insane due to the trouble I had with the product,I must have sent the bloke Perry over a dozen messages without any help only to be told to put a sponge on the bottom of it to stop the splashing which caused the wet leg.
This to me says many things about how he runs his business and i would warn everyone his customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced,if you are not happy with a product you should be entitled to your money back especially if you have a valid reason for it.

Are you referring to the computer fiasco in Australia many years ago?

https://www.arnnet.com.au/article/109381/disgraced_reseller_back_business/

"He has an exceptional marketing brain but is a shocking businessman."

https://windowcleaner.com/community/t/is-perry-tait-the-candy-man/37089

One question asked of him was if he had been a window cleaner.

Indeed I was … I was selling Maid Cleaning and Landscaping franchises for VIP HOME SERVICES in Australia ( I sold 100 in my first year) as I was a single Dad with two young teenage kids. I needed to be able to be Mr Mum, and Mr Professional at the same time.
In 2005, a British guy migrated to Australia and called me up to see if I had heard of Water Fed Window Cleaning. I was so impressed, I flew to UK in January 2006 and spent a week with Craig and Reuben from Ionics.

I returned to Australia and imported 250 Extel Poles, and started manufacturing Pure Water Systems for Soft Water Areas. We launched at the national Cleaning Show but it was way too soon - no-one wanted to buy the kit - but several companies were happy to outsource work to us.

And so, our commercial work was contract work, and our domestic work serviced the leads from VIP HOME SERVICES.

As I was using the water fed poles, I got my ideas of what they were not. In 2009, we had another go at marketing our poles and pure water systems - we sold them all in 6 months.

April 2010, we moved to China with another venture. I got screwed and had burnt my savings.

I started with 18 yr old Harrison with my last $10,000 on March 19, 2011.

The rest, is history …

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but a lot of customers bought used computers from him that were paid for but never delivered. A lot of customers lost their money!

Yet 10 years later he moved to China with another venture, got screwed (people like him never admit to their involvement in failure) and had burnt my savings. I started with 18 year old Harrison (his son) with my last $10,000 and the rest is history....

Where did all that money come from?

His title on "Linked in" is;
Perry Tait
President at Reach-iT (CHINA) Limited

I'm surprised he didn't call himself CEO rather than President. But the name President sounds more important.

Now, is his real name Perry Tait or Michael Maait?

He said to me more or less forget the leaking issue how can we make this product better for us lol,the bloke completely disregarded me wanting my money back he just wanted me to help improve it. All the videos you’ll watch on it will say no wet legs again using this product which is complete crap,he’s now put a post on Facebook saying they’ve solved the problem using a sponge from a pound shop lol. I used mine to do an inside job the customer said to me is that you dropping water everywhere. All it does is hold dry tools as soon as you add soapy water to it the troubles begin it’s a piece of crap.

It looks big and chunky for what it needs to be and all the moving parts on it and drain aways, it's bound to splash water out.
The samari (can't remember the name, think that's right) looks just as bad as well and that gained a lot of hype as well. Yet it only suits a particular way of stacking your equipment and mostly not in an ergonomic way either.

Personnally you can't beat the blue pulex boab, unless your using bigger than 18" squeegees.  I don't use moermans equipment as that also looks like a sales gimmick as well, esp their pouches. So not sure if they fit into it nor the ninja's.

not keen on the unger Boab as well which is a shame as I use their pouches, T bars, mops and squeegees.

I'd be tempted to Sioux him.
They're not Apache on the Unger classic.
I don't use a BoaB anymore. I either carry the T-bar (the smaller the better) or put in the bucket. I'd have Reservations about Running Water around my hip area.

Ha. The gunslinger is primarily a bucket.

The one thing you would expect a bucket to do is hold water.

You spent £75 on a bucket with a hole in it.

I could be wrong but I think that if goods are faulty the choice of replacement or refund is yours, not the suppliers.
