As an employer, what training do you give employees
« on: June 15, 2018, 08:14:45 am »
For those that employ,

To protect yourselves from future lawsuits, do you guys send employees on training courses or just train on site ?

Would  City & Guilds course cover all aspects?

Seeing the statement below got me thinking

‘Suffering an RSI at work. If you've suffered an RSI at work, it is likely that your employer has acted negligently either by not providing ergonomic adjustments or adequate break periods. You may be entitled to seek compensation for your pain and suffering by making an RSI compensation claim.

If u looking down this route then u need to get urself an h&s advisor

I was reluctant to do it at first as I seen It as unnessacery costs, but they will keep on top of everything for you like that. Now I see it as money well spent

Won't make any difference if someone makes a RSI claim training doesn't stop the repetitive nature of window cleaning.

Bung them a squeegee and ladder, tell them not to muck up.

Worked for me.
if it is dirty it is fair game
