Clarke boosts pump

I bought the following booster pump
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/051016200/?da=1&TC=GS-051016200&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIq4Xg6v7Q2gIVBrTtCh1pvQu2EAQYASABEgLI4vD_BwE
as Ive been having water production issues with a Pentair Pro setup.
My tap-water is 55 psi.
I've plumbed in the booster pump. It runs briefly then cuts out. The outlet pressure is showing 55 psi, same as the tap pressure. What could be causing this, any ideas? Ive pressurised it, up to 40 psi, as the online PDF for it says pressurise to between 22 psi and 44 psi.
Its fed via 1/2" hose from my outside tap and there's hard JG pipe-work from the outlet to the R.O.
Any ideas please guys?
TIA Matt

that booster pump maintains 43psi of pressure,
you have bought the wrong pump as your tap pressure is higher than what the pump maintains,
good luck taking it back if you bought it from machine mart.
