Forgot the name of the film (too busy to google it), but it starred matt damon as an astronaut stranded on the moon or mars, lol my memory. He was growing potatoes etc etc.
Anyways, there was a bit in the film when he used gaffer tape to fix a shelter. 
My wife turned to me and laughed "that's you that is!"
My house is held together with gaffer tape 😂😂

Time will tell, but there's no real friction as the bungie strap isnt holding the doors tight.
But i might glue a little rubber matt onto the door perhaps
