Cleaning slate today and no joy with the hypo, roof is actually covered in lichen so it's not going to shift. I'm not keen on using the small fsc on this job and I never quoted to pressure clean it, so relying on the anti fungal wash to take care of it.
It will take care of it but may have to wait 6-12 mths
That’s not true, our spray and walk away works a lot quicker than that Mike
Yes it is true depending on the wash you use
Taken from Algoclear pro - 'The speed of cleansing is by and large in relation to the site exposure. It varies typically
between 9 to 12 months on grainy substrates. Some coin size lichen take over a year to drop. In the meantime as the
cleansing progresses the
original colour of the roof material reappears.'
Just a note look what they have stated back to original colour, which is nonsense it will be what ever colour is left after years of erosion .
Currently temps are just above freezing its not going to be above 5 deg until Sunday with rain forecast, if your product works at these low temps with these conditions can you send me a sample to test
