Charging battery for wfp system
« on: November 24, 2017, 11:29:00 pm »
Hi,
I need to charge the leisure battery in the van.  Question is do i need to to disconnect the leads for the system off the battery before charging or does it not matter? I have a trickle charger.
Thanks
Steve

You can leave the leads connected
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

I charge mine a few times a week and don't disconnect the battery from the system, but if you really want to disconnect from the
system just put a on/off switch on the cable coming from the battery.

No I don't want to disconnect unless I have to. Just didn't want to damage anything.

Cheers,

Yes split charge. I have done it a few times before but when I stopped charging the van made a funny squell noise for a second
