Hello chaps,

Has any one got one of the official airflex silencers for the storm, just wondered how effective it is?
Also if the material used can be obtained from a DIY store or something?

Ps if anyone has one they don't want i may be interested

Does it greatly reduce the noise? How much are they anyway? doesn't mention it on the site.

I wear ear defenders if I'm close to it but generally it's outside away from everyone

U could diy a shorter one like this  ....    6"  diameter sewer pipe foam lined (or glass fibre in the pic ) with two 6" to 4" reducers at each end  ...  jam it in the storm hole  , or attach it to an 90 degree bend if u dont want it sticking out ways .

id say its essential to use one with the storm.........   hell of a racket without one!!!
