I don't often post on here generally like to sift out bits of useful info and leave the bitching to the regulars.
Steve back story sounds good, when you're successful you generally upset people on the way.
To my main point.

I've worked in the electric industry for over 12 years  upto 2005 in substations upto 400,000 volts. I have a healthy respect for electricity.
If you are gonna clean solar panels, I'd recommend wearing electrical gloves upto 1000v.

Tried having a look on Web about volts and amps. All I can find is volts per panel is about 50v and 6/7 amps.

My advice would be if there are any cracked panels or frayed wires leave alone and report it.
This if there was an electrocution would be the likely factor in it.

I don't wish to step on anyone's toes but a few little pointers should help you guys.

Can you actually see if the panels have a crack from the ground?

I was referring more to ground mounted. I suppose with roof mounted you could possibly see a crack with the right light refraction.

Ultimately if in doubt wear electrical gloves. Think screwfix might do some.

Probably should have MCS accreditation and EPC to clean panels. That's the way it'll go soon.
Good job too. Cut out the cowboys.
