Dye transfer and getting it out.
« on: May 11, 2017, 07:41:01 pm »
I do lots of upholstery and done 3 in a row with lots of dye transfer ,mostly on the seats as you would expect, very heavy, changing a cream suite to quite a dark blue. Used Fabric restore, and then  Alltecs upholstery cleaner, loads of elbow grease and hot extraction . End results disappointing.
Any one got a product ,process that might make my life easier, and end result better. All suites mix of acrylic/poly prop G plans, around 5 years old and on their First clean. Thanks Simon

Best product out there is probably Chemspec's dyegone, some have had success with Solutions Ecopog.

Chemspec Heavy Duty Soil Lifter is my choice for dye transfer on upholstery. Particularly cotton upholstery.
