I've just bought a softwash system of Rutland pumps it came with 30tmr of hose I was wanting to no if I need more hose could I use wfp pole hose I've got about 30m of the orange pole hose from xline systems really good stuff could I use that too or would it restrict the flow rate to much cheers Darren.

I also use uni-valve on all my poles will running a pressure washer at 10 ltr per min do any damage cheers

I'm just making up a softwash system for a job next week,  I'm more worried about too much flow, if the WFP hose I'm going to use  restricts  the flow slightly I think that will be a good thing.  I'm using a small 50psi pump to pull the solution out of a water tank to feed a WFP brush  and as telescopic lance.

Will your hose have a trapped pressure?  I don't think the flow is what might  cause  the problem it's the pressure the pump is pushing out

Use that to restict flow if you're worried about flow mike
You should be able to turn the pressure down on the pressure switch of your pump as well (small allen key)

Mike its a Comet chemical pump says I can adjust pressure so hopefully I can turn it down a bit but can't get my head around running a small pressure washer with a wfp pole hose.

Mike, when using a 12v chem pump to apply chems to vertical surfaces I've found the best option to adjust the flow/dead end detection is to use a spring digi pump controller. That way you can minimise overspray/ run- off and in doing so not waste so much chem.

I've read on bookfarce pages that univalves can fail.
