Fitting a pumptec to ashbys
« on: March 08, 2017, 08:09:08 pm »
Hi I'm upgrading my Ashby's ninja pump and have bought a 300psi black pumptec. Standard it had a shurflo pump so I don't know how to fit this. Anyone have any help on this. I'm not sure where the hoses go as it's got 2 in and 2 out as apposed to the shurflo with 1 in, 1 out. Wiring wise I'm ok.
Thanks in advance

I think you will need a set of high pressure hoses including a shock hose. Better to get in touch with Ashbys's or similar supplier for advice on how to install this as much different than putting a Shurflow in.

I once put one of these in a Ninja years ago (from Sureflow to Pumptech) and the kit came with all the high pressure hoses. If you install it with existing type hoses, I'm sure it will burst them.
