Oilflow 101 is pretty good. Tried it for the first time on tape residue stuck to a PVC front door the other day and was pleased with the results. It's also good for breaking down stubborn bird muck if you're running with a cold system.

Get yourself a Stanley window scraper (better than all the scrapers advertised). Use plenty of soapy water and rub very lightly and it will remove the residue. On glass you can use any amount of pressure.

White spirit works but probably not doing the pvc any favours in the long run.

lighter fuel is a good cleaner on UPVC. The stuff they use to sterilise hand in Hospital will work well. Vorosol also workswell

Ghee, thanks. I'll have to try that.

When removing sellotape from doors and windows, I think the hardest bit is finding the end.

dont do this!you ll scratch the plastic!.use a solvent instead.
price higher/work harder!
