Don't see why not.
They're eeeting the dogs.
They're eeeting the cats.
They're eeeting the pets,
of the people who live there.

There's a load of them classed as commercial, due to tax they're more popular than you think. What might be rarer is getting one without glass sides at the rear.
Expensive to run and costly to repair from what I've heard.

Theres loads about some with big engines. They look the same from the outside as a normal Discovery. I know nothing about them.

My brother in law has fitted a proper rear seat and it came with plastic covers over the inside of the rear passenger windows.  There is no telling the difference between commercial and private.

An old 6 wheeler land rover fire truck has a 1000 ltr tank in the back apparently.

The newish ones have a false floor so you could store long poles under the flooring in the rear. Very expensive to tax, service and fill up at petrol station. It's not really a practical vehicle for work  unless you love throwing money away.

This is a rather splendid Toyota Landcrusier VX at my local garage: 4.2 straight six diesel, Hi / Lo 4wd, about 500 kg capacity.

When I first saw it I couldn't work out why a late fifties Chevy Apache clearly had Toyota wheels and RHD...
I love it ! It's about the only work vehicle I'd ditch my Ranger for, even if payload weight was marginal.
Three seats as well.
