Last week i was  changing brush around as cleaning window with bars on and i noticed it was very heavily worn where it fits into quick loq fitting on brush. I have other pole with normal angle adaptor and it is a tight fit so this doesnt happen. With carbon neck there has always been that slight play but was shocked at how much it has worn out.

One way to compensate for wear on an older carbon gooseneck is put a single wrap of insulating tape around the male part - start just to one side of the push-button and wrap around stopping just to the other side of the button. This will tighten up the older gooseneck and prevent excess movement.
