Kitchen towel test
« on: August 31, 2016, 06:16:23 am »
yesturday using my big wand with  02 jets ( 4x2) I thought I would try and measure how dry the carpet was upon finishing so made this video

https://youtu.be/j4z1GawRy0s

I was actually quite impressed with how dry it was, not a real scientific test but the towel only showed slight spotting

Ps: This was filmed with an iPhone and the 2 videos combined with an app called splice which is a free app as long as you don't mind the advert at the end

I use a propane gas burner which is capable of incredible heat.

Here's a video I shot which show how OTT it can be,

Its a 14 inch,  4 jet  Westpac wand with a holed glide ( not sure of the make )

The machine is a unit I knocked up at the weekend as I wanted to go back to use a van based unit rather than my portable, it's a 4M blower belt driven at 1700rpm by a 13hp gx390 Honda ( looks like a Prowler)  with an electric pump & propane heater
