Hypo Advice needed please.
« on: July 20, 2016, 10:12:31 pm »
Hi Guys,
Started to do a few Render cleaning jobs here in Devon where we get three different algae's, Black, Green and Red.
the red stuff is a bugger to remove, usually takes two - three applications of Neat hypo.
My questions are these
1. What is best pump / sprayer to use for application?  I used a 5 litre pump sprayer but seemed bit slow and spent as much time pumping as I did spraying.
Would hypo corrode a WFP pump?
2. Do you guys who use Hypo water it down or go neat? if watered down at what ratio?

Thanks in advance fella's, much appreciated.

Neat hypo (SH) will destroy most pumps known to man no matter what they say  ;D
Also not very wise to go spraying neat hypo about either especially on vertical surfaces.
