Falch hot and cold vs other high pressure washers
« on: October 24, 2016, 03:11:04 pm »
Hi all,

Falch solution seems great for a hard floor cleaning contract , the results seem superior to any other product, however , is it honestly worth the difference in price...is it the accessories , nozzles , scathers that are so superior ??

Money is not really the issue , its just the fact of a job to be done and dont want to overspend if not required , but
i sure understand good kit is always good kit ?

Any words from some experienced users ?

Falch  are great machines I have had several and really do believe in them.  What I will say is, in a way you get what you pay for!  "but you do pay"!  The hard decision is whether or not you need that extra engineering to do what you do.  They are great machines but to some degree a little over engineered in a lot of respects and very pricey to boot.

So my first machine was a trailer mounted F2 300bar 21 lpm diesel motor and diesel heater great machine but the big let down was no tank.  So not only do you tow a large trailer you need a separate tank to run it and if there was a only a normal tap feed on site it was a PITA.  I ended up mounting a 400 litre tank on the A Frame but 400 litres is nowhere near big enough to run one of these and you couldn't travel with it because it was too heavy.

My second and third ones were the T3h same as the F2 but updated engine and an under slung water tank but still far too small.  What I am saying is fabulous machines if used with a hydrant or a couple of 1000 Litre tanks.

They do lots of other models such as the T5 which is 500 bar then they do T10, T20, T25 and so on the pressure goes up and so does the money.  I think the new basic ones these days are around £50000.  I saw a Trail Jet for sale in Germany a few weeks ago 300 bar 24lpm for about £34000.  You will probably pick up a T3 for around £6-9k.  A skid mounted one maybe a bit cheaper.  The Falch Scaters are good but they run much better on the 500 Bar machines.
