Time had come to get hot And I was wondering what's the best inline heater I was thinking of the Magma
 I then saw the Mytee which I  think looks better I also see Amtech  do one Does anyone  havea opion on the best one to buy

cannot comment on the others as i dont use them, but i do use the magma......  na na na na naa.... im loving it!!!
does a very good job in my opinion.......

I've got the magma heater and it does the job but the good thing about is that it clips onto the back of the bigger Airflex extractors. I've had two V2 steam mates before and found the heat produced was hotter and lasted longer but they are bigger and heavier.

Im thinking they are all using the same internals  ,   as in the pics below
A metal cylinder with one or two heating elements inserted  ...
Def the amtech i use like this  inside ,  a dual core id say  , the fatter ones are dual core . Some also have two seperate cylinders connected together , the mytee i believe has 4 switches , each switching on/off a 600w element .
So whats different about the Ashbys ,  on the website they mention a copper coil heat exchanger , so perhaps they wrap a copper coil around the metal cylinder , thus increasing efficiency and accounting for the extra weight .  ??

I think that copper coil is for their solvent cleaning system John. It sits in a tank of hot water and the solvent is drawn through by a separate pump.

Perhaps , but im right about the steammate  ,  actually it said it on their website when i looked

"Cleaning solution flows through a unique 15 metre copper coil heat-exchanger wrapped around a heated core. This design is dramatically more efficient than a regular hot box system, where cleaning solution flows rapidly through a channelled heated metal block, which then cools down.
